Understanding Behavior Styles DISC Assessment

What is DISC?

The Maxwell DISC Personality Assessment is a powerful tool that helps individuals and teams understand their behavioral styles. Based on four primary behavior styles —Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness—DISC uncovers how people naturally approach challenges, interact with others, and respond to rules and procedures.

  • Dominance (D): Focuses on results, confident and quick decision-making, action taker, workaholic, dislikes routine
  • Influence (I) Friendly, encouraging, adaptable and relationship-building. Lack of attention to detail. Easily Distracted
  • Steadiness (S): Prioritizes consistency, dependability, good listener and team harmony. Can be sensitive, avoids confrontation.
  • Conscientiousness (C): Values accuracy, structure, and data-driven decisions. May over analyze and under react.

John Maxwell says, "People are different but they are predictably different."
